I love my Arisaka, because of the historical significance, and the family history. I like a lot of Japanese firearms especially the Type 11 machine gun and Type 92 machine gun. I find it so interesting that for their machine guns that used the 7.7x58mm cartridge they had a rimless and semi rimmed version.

I think the reason my wife likes it so much is due to the fact that it's a really unique bolt action rifle and the cartridge is very unique too. She loves to shoot my Mosin, but she finds it just a tad too big for her.
