Default Trouble sighting in

I bought a Remington 770 that shoots a .243 Winchester round, was bore sighted supposedly by Remington and it worked the first time i went out then i took it out to the range and tried to hit the target it missed far left and as i try to sight the gun in it never works, any ideas why not.

Sounds like a bad scope if you can't adjust POI with the scope adjustments? Also take a look at your scope mounts and bases make sure they're not lose.

Start by checking the mounts. Is everything tight?

1) check to make sure all your mounting screws are tight 2) get a different gun bc the 770 is junk all the way around the board 3) your scope might have been bumped off 4) your gun is junk 5) it sounds like your rings/bases are loose.....did i mention the rifle is not worth the $ paid for it when you can buy a marlin of better quality for just a little more?

Iv worked on 8 of em since they started producing em....what do you think? The last one i sold my buddy it belong to one of my marlins and then i told him what his bill was.....after he heard it he had me take the scope off from it and he then wrapped the gun around my push bumpers lower pipe.
