OK, so before everyone starts beating me up on this, just go with it.

I have a M70 FTWT in 300wsm. I am buying a Sav 11 in 308. I love the AccuTrigger. I have been contemplating selling my M70, and buying a Sav in 300wsm as well.

So here is my thing. I love the AccuTrigger. It feels like that trigger safety is taking out all of the pre travel, and when you get to the trigger, it goes BANG. Perhaps, that is what is happening. Perhaps, that is how it was designed. Or maybe it is my mind playing tricks on me.

Here is the question: Is there an aftermarket trigger out there that has a trigger safety that would fit in an M70? ** I would love to put the AccuTrigger in my M70, but don't think that would work.

Any ideas?

Sorry, there isn't, the trigger on a model 70 is a hellova trigger, easily adjustable, and stupid simple. You can get a very light, consistent and safe trigger out of a model 70. Although savage rifles are more accurate in my findings then a Winchester. Good luck.

If you can't find instrutions to lighten by adjusting the winny trigger to your likeings Rifle Basix has a trigger that will adjust from 12oz to 4 lbs for under 100 dollars and they make a great trigger. Cost is very hard to bet. Savage accutrigger has nothing on a good fully adjustable trigger.
