Default To trade or not to?

So today I was offered a new Savage Model 10FCP in .308 for my YHM complete lower, BCM 14.5" barrel with pinned muzzle device and BCM lo pro gas block. Would this be a decent trade? I can get another AR fairly easily whenever

If you don't have another complete rifle, don't do it just my .02 cents

What stock does the 10FCP have?
There are 3 models that I know of,the Cabelas exclusive has a Choate tactical stock, and retails for around $800. The factory offers them in two different stocks,a H&S Precision, and a McMillan. The H&S goes for around $1000,and the McMillan is around $1200.
Any of these rifles will shoot circles around your AR,all day long.
I'd do the trade in a heart beat!

I'm not sure yet, waiting on an email back. I'm hoping its the SR version with the detachable 10 round mag

Not in the current climate, that AR is worth more, maybe if he has some cash to boot.

It's not a full AR. It's just a full lower with barrel, gas block and flash hider. It still needs a bcg, gas tube, upper and hand guard

I'd definitely get the other AR first if a truly fair price and trade the parts for the rifle IF it is one you truly want. You're not gonna complete your AR soon and the buyer sounds like he can tomorrow. YHM and BCM are fine makers but who wants a 14.5" barrel with carbine-length gas-system anyway (except that maybe a bayo fits to it)...

It's the mid length gas system on the barrel. That's all I ever run

Excellent -- that'd make my choice one step harder. So, which Savage model is it -- the one with the removeable mag you prefer, and what're you gonna do man!?
