I have had my tikka T3 30-06 for a year now and I'm absolutely in love with it .. Just wanna hear people opinion on the tikka series

I'm looking onto a Tikka t3 lite in 30-06. Do you have synthetic w/ stainless or blued w/wood? What scope do you use and did it have irons on it when you bought it?

I have the senthetic with blued barrel and I bout it with a redfield 3-9x40 already on it , which was an amazing scope but I just put the Nikon pro staff 4-12x40 on it and love it... If u can afford it go leuapold

I have NIKON buckmaster scope. 3-9x40 with the bdc reticle. I've been really happy with the scope as well. It came with no iron sights, but did come with scope rings. Some people don't like the scope rings, but they have been flawless for me. I have the blued barell with the synthetic stock. Too poor for the cooler versions at the time, but I really like the stainless on wood look.

I'm a little shy of that right now, but its my first buy in the new year. Also wanted to see if the price drops in the next couple months.

I'd say go for it, you won't regret. Great rifles (as are many others too), accurate, very smooth bolt, free floated barrel and a decent adjustable trigger. The magazines aren't the best out there, but they do work. The plastic stocks look and feel a bit cheap, so you may want to get one with a wooden stock.

I'm amazed how cheap you guys can get Tikkas over the pond. We are paying ~1000$ for the basic models in Finland
