Default Tikka T3 Lite?
I've been hankering for a rifle chambered in .25-06. Bass Pro Shop has the Tikka T3 Lite on sale for $599. I can't see how you can do much better than that for a rifle with all the features they offer.

Good price?

Don't know yet, but I called and they don't have a .25-06....

But they DO have a .22-250 which I have also been lusting over....

I had the T3 lite in .30-06 and it was more accurate than I ever will be. However, its lightness made the '06 very uncomfortable to shoot. A quarter bore will probably be a better fit with the light weight.

Do you think the .22-250 will burn the barrel out even faster because of the lighter weight?

Good question.

Probably a moot point. I just called them again and they said they sold the only two 22-250s they had. All they have left now is 30-06....ah, well.
