Just held one of these at my local gun shop. The gun is super lite and is in 300 win mag which is just what Ive been looking for. Bet it kicks like a mule but it would be great for stalk hunting. Dose anyone own or ever shot one of these rifles?

My best friend has that gun in .338 and you better get glass with plenty of eye relief. It does come back at you. His gun is a great shooter easily doing sub MOA (even 1/2 MOA with some loads).

The recoil won't kill you but it's not a gun that you want to let a newbie shoot from the bench but a great hunting rig nevertheless. Not trying to scare you from buying it. I would if I was looking for a .300 WM. My personal .300 is an AWR and weighs less that 7.5 lbs loaded. I LOVE light hunting guns.

I didn't know you belonged to this forum. Nice. I looked into the Tikka...it looks like it's not bad.

I don't know if I'd buy from Cosner's, tho. He's a good guy, but his prices leave a little to be desired. Look around.
