Looking for experience with the venture rifle. The black synthetic model.
Am lookin at buyin in 308 with a 4-12 x40scope.

How are they?

I don't have experience with that particular gun but in general T/C makes good stuff.

I have one in 30-06 and all I can say is wow! Federal factory 180's at 200 yards get me about inch and a half groups. After I feed it handloads, they are in the neighborhood of half to three quarter inch groups at 200. It's definitely a shooter. The stock is a bit funky but for the price and how it performs, who cares about the stock. Good trigger and pad too.

How does the trigger adjust out like? Nice an light or light for hunting or ok for a hunting rifle?
