I got the email earlier also.
The TPWD website had some info on this several months ago.I bet they will pass it.

Hello,

I hunt hogs a lot just east of Austin and most of time use archery equipment.
The hogs still run off when the first arrow goes through their buddy so the "silencer" is not going to allow you to be some super slueth.

We're not wanting to be steathy,we want to be able to hear for a long long time.
And you can already use a suppressor hunting any non-game species in Tx,the TPWD is going to vote on it for allowing hunters to use suppressors to hunt all game animals.
