stock weight difference

Can anyone tell me the weight difference of a Remington 700 BDL wooden stock vs a Bell & Carlson aramid stock? Looking to lighten up my .270 and was wondering if it was worth spending the $250 on the B & C stock.

The B&C ultra lite and the H&S Precision pro series sporter both weigh around 1.5-2.0 lbs.
The H&S is a little more, but is worth the extra money,IMO.
You'd have to go with a Manners carbon fiber stock to go lighter, and they run over $600,but they are about the best you can buy, along with McMillan.

Any synthetic is always a step up over wood.:D

B&C is a very good choice, but if money isn't the main consideration, look hard at the offerings from McMillan.
