Standard Products M1 carbine
I picked one of these up and was wondering what the approximate value might be. It was made in '43, has an Underwood barrel and is in great shape. Also, where is the best place to buy .30 cal ammo for these carbines? I can't seem to find any in the local gun shops, Wal-mart or other places around here.

Thanks for the info locutus, seems the Standard Products are a bit more rare than some of the other M1's, not sure if that makes them worth more though.

Anytime I have a IBM carbine and I'll tell you what. It's a hoot to shoot and it's so light. Incredible weapon system even today.

I agree, and this one came down to me from my Dad, so it's got a lot of meaning for me.
