Springfield Armory 1896 (KRAG) -First Post-
 

Hey everyone, I'm a new user. So, I would like to let you know what I have and get some feedback on my prize rifle. This is my small but effective ( I hope ) armory.

NEF - 20 Ga. Single Shot - stock
Hi-Point - 995 TS 9mm Carbine - red dot
Springfield Armory - model 1896 30-40 Krag - 3-9x40 hunting scope

My dad just gave me this springfield for helping him over the summer. I replaced the scope that was on it with a 3-9x40 simmons, which is cheap but gets the job done. I just put 60 rounds of winchester superX (?) through it and got to do about 1 1/2 - 2 MOA consistently. So, if anyone knows anything about these guns (origin, value, fun facts, etc) let me know.
