This is what I've been shooting lately. Pellet gun in the back yard. Until I can get some ammo at some decent prices this is what I've resorted to. Still fun but not the same.

Maybe this shortage is a blessing in disguise. People might find air guns a viable option for recreational shooting. I know my WEIHRAUCH HW-80 has been getting a good workout as has my HW-70 pistol.

The problem is, most decent quality air rifles are in the $200 range these days. I have one I bought several years back, and it was like $150 then

Just got an order in today from BulkAmmo.com 1000 rounds of Federal 185 grn. Hi-Shock JHP. Stepped out the back door and ran a few mags through my Para-P10 and a couple through my PT1911 and I'm very happy with the results!

I am looking at Bulkammo right now, no listing of Rimfire ammo, pistol missing 9mm and .357 Mag ammo. This is ugly!

Surplus ammo has this for $99.99 for 500 rounds.

Sold out? No! At the gun show in Lima, Ohio was lots of .22lr! Prices? Reasonable if you are bill gates. The highest was $70 for a brick of federal HP. You read that right. $70.

LGS has a brick for $99.99. Off breed brand name.

Wal-Mart sold two, one thousand packs of Winchester yesterday for $40 ish each. Lasted ten seconds on the shelf.

Take your pick, lucky to find it, or,

Gratful to get some!

It is available both ways.

Wow. Sign of the times I guess. Hopefully the times will get back to normal soon.
