From what I hear it's the combination of panic buying, military buying a huge ammount of ammo, and the fact that the ammo companies weren't prepared. I've still got some .22lr,.223,.380, 9mm, 30-06, 12 gauge, 20 gauge,.410, and 7.62x54R left, but not much. One guy I know went into Academy Sports when this started and bought 2 pallets worth of 5.56!! Needless to say it's pretty bad here(NE Louisiana).

If you buy on-line there is almost no ammo you can't find if you know where to look.
How about .30-06 at $.50 a round. Try here.

The only reason I say almost no ammo I can't find is I can't find any .22lr at anywhere near a reasonable price.

It's official, RI and MA have a shortage too. .45 and .40 are running low, and 9mm is nowhere to be found. You can get reloaded lead, but I've been told its no good for my Glock, any suggestions?

My lgs here in cc texas has plenty 1000 round cases of 50 they don't seem to be running low every where else is

get a lone wolf glock barrel. they fix the problem with the defective glock factory barrels. you get a fully supported chamber and regular land and groove rifling that lets you shoot lead without worry.

My friend called me earlier from a gun show he's working at in the South Point Casino on LV Blvd. He said earlier today there was a line that estimated a 5hr wait to buy ammo. He called me a couple of hours ago and said the wait was reduced down to an estimated 3 hrs. It's sick and getting sicker.

just down in kentucky went to hunting store completly sold out of ammo except for shotgun ammo i was lucky enuff to find another clip for my marlin .22 magnum
