Here's a novel idea..if you know where there is available ammo that you have no issues getting and there appears to be plentiful, how about posting where that is? Otherwise I call BS! Getting pretty f&$king tired of hearing about how some folks have no issues getting any thing they want, but never share where that is to the rest of us.
Ok, I'll start... I live in middle tennessee. Fire those who don't know where that is, its in the middle of the state, near Nashville. Can't find sh!t for ammo without spending rediculous amounts of time driving, calling and camping out at stores.

Good thinking.

The tri state gun collectors show in Lima, Ohio is the first full weekend of the month, except June, July, and august. There was just about every common caliber available there, if you have a checking account similar to bill gates. Bricks of .22 were between $40 and $70.

I bought American Eagle 38 spcl and 357 mag today at lgs. Looks like he got a healthy load of Federal ammo.
Very little 22lr in stock, I got 22 mag and 44 mag.

No 45acp, 9mm, 40s&w, 308, 30-06, 223.

I'm gonna throw a lot of the blame for the lack of ammo on the store shelves in the laps of the manufacturers. Each of these companies are capable of manufacturing tens of thousands of rounds of ammunition per day. When was the last time anyone heard of their local sporting goods store, or gun shop receiving a reasonable shipment of ammo?

It's a fact that the govt is grabbing up, or has scooped up much of the ammo and of course people are hoarding. But some responsibility has to lie with manufacturers as well. Perhaps they want people to get used to the obscene prices that are being charged in order to keep the price of ammo excessively high when shelves start to fill up again.

Has any manufacturers spoken out publicly as to what they're doing on their end to supply their real customers, who happen to only be the citizens of this country that's been keeping them in business all these years? Let them pull their thumbs out of their butts and start producing ammo again, damn it!

That's pretty high, 9mm should be around $10 to $14 per 50. What you described is $18 per 50 rounds. High but not horrible, correct me if I'm wrong...
