totally depends on location.. around here a year ago sks sold for about 450 to 600. and that was a way before all this stuff about you know whats.. i bet he could easily get 700 for it if he wanted.

I'd hate to be stuck by my SKS's bayonet; it looks darn painful.

If you don't like it; sell it at the next gunshow and buy something you do like.

700 for a norinco pinned bbl 70's sks??? Good god what location would you have to be in to get that? Ant artica?? That seems a bit much. But then again I only know prices around where I live.

If I want a good laugh/case of nausea, I browse through our local firearms classifieds. Chinese SKS's selling for $750 w/o ammo!!! What some are asking for bare bones Bushmaster, RRA and DPMS will make you befoul your pantaloons. Mini 14's and 30's for $1500!

.. only because of the rush on semi's right now i say he could possibly get that.. but like i said last year at a guns show i was seeing them for 4 to $500. it was sad cause i wanted one.. oh well.

there is a beat up yugo at my LGS for 375 right now.

yeah. current prices are very, very scary to imagine.. cant wait for it to stablize again
