Default Sling Question?

Years ago in high school on the rifle team we used a sling that attached to the sling stud on the foregrip. The other end had a loop that went around the left arm, for a right handed shooter. That sling made a world of difference in accuracy. Lately I've been thinking about that and working on my technique using a regular sling but it's just not the same. So my question is does anyone know of a good carrying sling that easily converts to a shooting sling?

My favorite is the claw. I have the sling sticks set but it has enough flexibility in the strap to use it like you mentioned I practice my standing shots that way

Here are a few sites showing how to use a military web sling.
If you use these slings they require 1 1/2 inch swivils

All persons present in uniform should render the military salute. Members of the armed forces and veterans who are present but not in uniform may render the military salute. All other persons present should face the flag and stand at attention with their right hand over the heart, or if applicable, remove their headdress with their right hand and hold it at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart.
