Should I get a Armalite M15 A4 7.62 or a STAGG 5.56 NATO?
I don't really have a high powered rifle so I'm leaning towards the Armalite but then again the Stag has a ton of accessories and is more accurate. I only own a few guns so am not quite the expert yet and could use some advice. Thanks everyone.
That seems like a bold statement to make about the Stag being more accurate. Armalite makes a variety of models with listed MOA from 1-2.5 (not saying this means anything). Not sure what your price range is, but perhaps you should look at the M15 (t). M15A4(T) RIFLE STAINLESS STEEL, BLACK
Seems like a pretty nice rifle. A man at the range last time was shooting some nice groups with an Armalite M15.
Likely the model you picked would be less accurate than the one I pointed out. The reasons for this are evident. The rifle is not made poorly at all; it is just suited for a different purposes. Two reasons lead to the decreased accuracy. First the barrel length is 16 in vs. the longer 20. Obviously velocity will be lost. Next the barrel is chrome lined (16" Double Lapped Chrome Lined\Chrome Moly Vanadium). This is inherently not as accurate as stainless steel. However there are added benefits from a shorter barrel and chrome lining. First greater maneuverability with the shorter barrel and second chrome lining makes cleaning easier and is resistant to corrosion.
Lastly I just have to mention that I highly recommend picking the 6.8 SPC rifle (which Armalite makes) over the 7.62x39, however this is not my decision.
