Default Shooting the Legendary Frontiersman

So I have this Winchester Legendary Frontiersman Commerative that has been sitting in my safe for twenty years now and I have decided the go out and shoot it. However, I have read about different .38-55 ammo possibly not fitting correctly in this gun. Does anyone know anything about this and what brand of ammo would be appectable to shoot? Thanks in advance!

I have no clue on that one. You might be able to Google it and find something if you haven't tried already?

Glad you decided to shoot it though. I always thought it was really sad for a gun to be made and then not shot.
