I usually order bulk packs of 100 cases from someplace like Midway or Cabela's. But most folks can pick up enough brass sitting loose on the range to have enough just for hunting ammo.

I did the Same thing for .223. Bought 500 rounds of PMC bronze 55gr in .223, about 2 months later I bought 200 primed PMC .223 brass. Ammo is ok for plinking. I also snagged Prvi and Igman ammo in 6.5x55. VG brass. I was a little concerned about 7mmRem Mag a few months ago. Decided on a scavenger hunt of my stashes. Found 4+ boxes of old factory ammo. I've got 120 cases now.
I looked at my never fail stores. No .300 Win Mag period.

Good thing hunting season is about over...

Seriously I shoot 300 Weatherby and it has been a little scarce but have been able to pick it up at Cabelas.
Have a friend in South Dakota who was by here a couple weeks ago. He shoots 300 Win. Mag and said shells were non existent up there. He went by an LGS here in town and grabbed some before he went back.
