Default Scope suggestion for remington 700 (.308)

Hello everyone, im buying a remington 700 adl in .308, and im looking for scopes that i should put on it for 150-200 yard shots. any suggestions? (mainly target shooting however i may hunt twice a season)

My Rem 700 .308 sports a Bushnell Elite 3-9x40. Great scope for price, maybe a little more than you need for that distance, but you won't be disappointed...unless you were considering Swarovski or Zeiss or something like that. If I remember, I got a free waterproof zip up as well!

you have UNLIMITED options for the 100 yd - 350 yd (maybe 500 yd, if you're good enough) range. it just depends on how much $$$ you wanna spend.

just remember though, you get whatchu pay for. Nikon scopes are good medium priced scopes that ALOT of hunters use. Redfield has come back into action. Leupold scopes can be found @ decent prices.
