Default Savage Model 111---30.06 SPRG

This is my Savage Bolt action Model 111---30.06 SPRG with Bushnell 3x9x,40 scope. This gun is the best shooting, most accurate rifle I have owned. Took it out of the case two days before modern gun season in 2010 and put the first three shots inside a quarter at 100 yards. Got a 9 point the first day of season at 150 yards. The deer dropped on the spot. Name: 2011_0107new0013.jpg

Nothing wrong with a Savage. Great rifles, great prices and a nice deer.
Glad to see someone still shoots the ol' 30-06.
Looks like it was a great romp in the woods............

Jim.
