That may be true for some people. I paid $350 for a 770 with a scope in 270 win. I later paid $440 for a 700 in a 270 win. Any extra money I paid was for the best optics I could afford. Still way below $1000.
But I get your point. It DOES shoot a bullet. And if you're good, you could probably use a slingshot. Not being a wise-guy... I mean that.

I've always thought they could make golf interesting if you combined golf with trap shooting.
