U paid $300 for a used savage axis??? Why the hell did u do that they are 289.99$ bran new on the shelf in 308 coveys guns has all the calibers same price.

They do offer it in different packages tho an the prices goes up some, most they are at coveys is 359.99 for the scoped model.

That may be true for some people. I paid $350 for a 770 with a scope in 270 win. I later paid $440 for a 700 in a 270 win. Any extra money I paid was for the best optics I could afford. Still way below $1000.

But I get your point. It DOES shoot a bullet. And if you're good, you could probably use a slingshot. Not being a wise-guy... I mean that.

Did you go to the Golf-course to shoot that golf ball? I've always thought they could make golf interesting if you combined golf with trap shooting.

I picked up a 308 with threaded barrel at academy a month or so ago for $269 and was I impressed. It shoots great and just feels good.

Just dont try to remove the recoil pad the damn tab brakes right off an u have a square hole in the top of the stock. I have a axis 223 in the truck it gets the hell bounced out of it every day. Shoots great the stock is so cheap it begs me for money but its always ready to pop a yote. An yes its black on black an was $269.99 new in box.

Got my axis today i gotta say it feels like a great rifle and inexpensive to boot. Paid $429.00 for a scoped stainless bbl model...I can't wait to bring it to the range tomorrow and see how it does! Gun porn is posted below sort of ****ty pics tho lol lighting in my room is terrible

That's a good looking rifle man I payed 417 for mine it's the one with the next gen camo stock has soon as I get it back from my friends house I will post pics of it and some groups I shot with it
