That's actually the whole reason I'm looking at a .223.
I was originally going to get it in .243 since I'd be able to use it for deer as well, but I'm a little on the cheep side of things since I'm still new to the firearms world.
Well think about a 243 is a little more money to shoot but how much r u going to shoot with in a year for example this year I have shot 160 rounds thought my 250 witch ain't much cuz they were spaced out over the year

That's the thing. I'd be taking it to the range more or less every time I took my .22 out. So I'd probably be going through 300-500 a year. But that's also if I can find bulk ammunition that's fairly cheep, which I think I might of just done.

That is if this wasn't a typo.

I've been on a few other sites, I'm going to keep that on in mind for punching paper and other non-living targets. I seen a box of 55gr JHP for I think 23 or so, just don't remember what site it was.

That's not to bad, at least get away from paying for shipping and any other fees that go along with shipping ammunition. Also pretty sure a 1:7 twist would be able to stabilize them fairly well.

I'll take your word on that. I'm actually just about to head to work so I'll check the prices out while I'm there.

Really just looking for something good to use on live game up to yote size.
