Sorry for the late reply, it's chambered in30-06. I shoot 168 grain nosler over some IMR 4064, very impressed with this rifle.

After adjusting the factory trigger it shoots way better than I do

I just started reloading for both my 06s and thanks when I got it it was all black and I can't stand a black gun lol so I took some paint to it and now it looks a lot better then before

In my beliefs it's the best mass produced rifle on the market today. Accuracy is stellar, parts are everywhere. You can change parts easily, extremely accurate, I own 3 that shoot under .3 with factory ammo and good glass. Own the 12,110, 114 ultra. Great, great rifles. Pre accutrigger models triggers suck so def replace with a timney or rifle basics. Enjoy your Savage rifle.

My pre-accutrigger Savage 116 in 7mm Rem. Mag. has the best factory trigger I've ever felt in any gun. It's smooth as silk and breaks crisp as glass at 3lbs. with no pretravel or overtravel at all. The pre-accutrigger Savages have a fully adjustable trigger mechanism that can be easily adjusted to your liking.
