Very nice!I'd give serious thought to some bedding on this setup.Shooting factory loads,which have some pressure.....is going to beat that stock up a bit.Don't need to go overboard....hit the critical areas for recoil absorbtion.It may not show up on specific accuracy(groups),shorterm.....but should build in consistency,longterm.Good luck.

I have a two Savage rifles.. great shooters.. both have after market triggers.. for the money you paid, maybe upgrade the scope and mount, and maybe the trigger.. or you can just shoot it. Enjoy..

Unless you go semi/full custom you won't get a better shooter than a savage plus you can always swap calibers in 20 mins

looks like a Simmons Blazer scope.. I have the Blazer 3X9X50 on my .22...
