I have Hornady 150,165 and 180 bullets on hand for my .30-06 loads. I was thinking something like a Sierra 168 Matchking would be a good bullet to look at. We have a 300 yard range at my club. Beyond that I'm going to have to do some searching to find more range.
I load the 155gr Sierra Palma bullets for my 30-06's. Love that bullet out to 400yrds. I use IMR-4895 powder but not sure what powders work well with 308. I want to try some 175gr and 190gr one of these days. I load 165gr Sierra Gameking BTSP with Varget powder for hunting. I also like the Hornady White Tail and Remington Cor-Lokt ammo when I can find it on sale. Doesn't hurt to have plenty of ammo on hand.
