Default Did you ever find a manual?

[QUOTE=MrBelge;155709]

This is the EXACT same rifle that I purchased for $100.00at a garage sale, like you I am not sure as it's age, however previous owner does not seem to have shot it much if at all! It's rusty and the bolt seems to be very dirty casuing it not to seat. I have tried searching for any information as I plan to disassemble and clean.I am 62 with bifocals, in pretty good shape. Thanks for the warning that it kicks like a bull. I am very interested in any information you may have.About the nasty kick with 180 grainers, what is a Packmayer Decellerator?
Thank you for any info you may be able to share.
Elliot

It's a Lee Enfield No4 Mk II. The rifle shown by saint217 is a Lee Enfield No1 MkIII. They were England's battle rifle for WWI and WWII and IMHO the best bolt action battle rifle but that is highly subjective. Do a search on Lee Enfield and you find lots of info.

I have one just like yours. They tried to convert it into a Jungle Carbine.
