Default SA M1A loaded

I just got a call from my local firearms dealer telling me my ordered M1A has arrived. Excited since I learned to shoot this dude in the Navy years ago. Is there anything I need to know to get it broken in properly to get off on the right foot?

trader,

Just purchased my second M1-A this past year to use in the schools. It is an M1-A Loaded Model and form all indications it shoots as good as my M1-A National Match Rifle I have had for years. Being as the M1-A Loaded has mostly match grade parts without the glass bedding it is a great rifle. The only thing I ever did with them both in the Army on a Team and my personal rifles was clean the bore good lube the weapon and use the recommended grease on the bolt and you are good to go. Like me I am sure you will not abuse your quality rifle by shooting to the extent of getting the barrel hotter than normal. For great accuracy I have been shooting the Federal Premium Gold GM-308-M 168 gr. BTHP.
Enjoy and have fun you have just purchased one of the finest rifles available today.

I was a gunners mate in the Navy and was trained in small arms but worked on 5" 38 on a destroyer. Had forgotten most of what I knew other than how to shoot. $1800 is a lot of money but I'm thinking the trip down memory lane be worth it. It'll will ultimately end up with my son so am glad to hear SA has done such a fine job. Thanks
