ruger no.3 question

i have a ruger no. 3 chambered in 30-40 krag, ive heard that ruger no.1 stocks will fit it with no modification, is that true?

not 100% sure. i have a friend i work with and he's really big on the #3 and # 1 Rugers. IIRC yes they can be with minor modifications. seems like he just did one last year. put a #1 stock on his #3 Ruger. if nothing has come up before tuesday, i'll talk to him monday and get some more details and information for you.
