Ruger M77 in 7mm
Just picked up an older (1988), 90% condition Ruger M77 in 7mm Rem Mag. No rust no pitting, looks like it was taken to the woods once a year as the stock has tell-tale dings here and there. Barrel looks really good
As a hunter and wanna-be long distance shooter, I have had the round recommended to me countless times due to it's flat trajectory. Not completely on-board with the Ruger scope mounting situation, but then there's locktite if all else fails. The mauser-style bolt is a thing of beauty. This rifle weighs less than my Rem 700 30-06.
I bought this so my son can join me on mule deer and elk hunts in Montana and Minnesota. If this rifle shoots as well as I think it is going to, I will let him use the Remy lol
