Default Ruger M77

I just bought a Ruger M77 (not the hawkeye) in a .308 winchester. Its a black synthetic stock with a stainless barrel. Anyone have one of these? any info on what to expect? Pros & Cons? Thanks

Thats good to hear. The only thing that I don't care for is the three position safety. It's not like the older rugers with the tang safety, but other than that it looks like a sweet little shooter

Depends on what you are using it for and what your particular rifle likes. The good news is that in .308 you should be able to find an appropriate factory loading to kill evrything from mice to moose. There is also great Match ammo factory loaded by Federal and Black hills as well as many others.
