One of the redfield revenge models.
Pick your poison from 32mm up to 52mm with 3x9 scopes up to 4x12s

Got one of the "intermediate" ones on my hunting rifle, great scopes!

Stay in the Redfield Revolution sub- brand if you can, these are made in the USA. I have a Revolution on one of my rifles.

Leupold acquired the Redfield marketing rights a few years ago, either Rampage or Revolution should work well.

270 is one of the best. a 3-9x40 will get you where you need to be and be the best value in scopes.

I've been looking at a Ruger American in 270 as well. Let us know how you like it when you get to shoot it

My 270 Savage is a killer. A couple of points. During the last ammunition run, I never, ever, walked into the gun store looking for 270 and came out empty handed. Almost every other type of ammo, excepting shotgun, was gone. Always found a box or two of 270. I use a Nikon ProStaff. Excellent scope for my shooting up to about 300 yards. That's my limit.

That's the exact reason I want to get one. I have been able to find .308 and .223 online, but all I can find locally is .270

My Remington 700 ADL in .270 has a Burris FFII scope and its a awesome deerslaying combo. I think you are going to love your .270.
