Rock River Arms .458 SOCOM - Still waiting

Well today marks my 120th day of waiting for my rifle to be delivered. Thats 4 months. Originally, when I ordered it, they said 60 to 90 days lead time. Then they said more like 90 to 120 days. I am patient. I know its going to be a great rifle. It's just that I thought by ordering it in May, it might be here in plenty of time for me to get a few rounds off before deer season which begins in November. Oh well, more waiting I guess. :o

deerslayer,There are local dealers around here that have complete uppers in stock. If you haven't already paid RRA for the rifle,I could dig up a phone # for you. They can ship the upper directly to you,and if you also need a complete lower,I'm sure you could find one locally or just assemble your own.
I paid $750 for my complete RRA 458SC upper,when I bought mine.

I think he ordered it from RRA and if you cancel your order you lose 20% I believe.

Because I dont have a FFL, I ordered it form a local gun store and did a couple upgrades on it. I added a Badger Tac Latch and an upgraded stock. I made a $600 deposit on it and I'm not sure of the penalty for cancellations. This is my first new rifle. Well, other than my .50 cal Remmington 700 muzzle loader.

Most stores it's 20-30% some maybe higher.

:(:( Waiting quickly grows burdensome.:(:(

Well I got tired of waiting so I emailed them and this is what they said,

Unfortunately we received a bad batch of barrels from the supplier so we are waiting now on the next shipment, so I do not know how far that issue set us behind, they are not able to ship any .458’s out right now.

Thanks,
