Ok I've decided against the scope being in front of the action....as I don't really like pistol scopes...I want to make this a hunting rifle specifically I've realized....later on down the road if I want a badass scout rifle I'll just buy a Steyr for it's ridiculous price.

So it looks like I will need to get a bend bolt handle and a side mount.

Might just go with the ATI one. What do you think?

Speaking of dumb stunts, today found an original inland M-1 Carbine at "Whittakers" in KY, s.e. of Evansville, that had been spray-painted green.

Too bad that the ignoramus had not sprayed a common Remngton, Winchester or Savage.
Of course people often have no intention of ever selling their guns.

That makes me sad man.

How much was it? The m1 carbine was going to be my first gun....but I got an SKS because it was cheaper.

I like the bolt, one of the few that makes my godfather proud [He breifly used a Mosin for hunting]
