Default remington r 15

Been thinking about buying a remington r 15 vtr. 223. Was wondering if anybody on here has shot 1 or has 1 can tell me anything about them.

i got a buddy who has one, shoots good, but is picky about ammo

I would save up for a colt in 5.56

Agree there- Just look on the receiver- MOST these days will be marked 5.56/223 -
Actually about the only AR i can say i see "downed" these days is Vulcan - I had one & it was OK but i'd never buy one--
