Default Remington Model 700 VTR

The triangular barrel from factory with muzzle brake. What's everyone's opinion on it for a number 1 Whitetail round in 308.

It looks cool. That's all I can give you. I have only read reviews on the VTR. It appears to be liked by some and disliked by others. I wish I could get a chance to shoot one.

Me to they run about 750 new in NC. All i have heard is that it is a nail driver and the barrel makes it one. With a regular round barrel when barrel is cool shoots where you want it to pretty much. But as you shoot 1 after another and the barrel heats up it will not stay as accurate.
With the vtr triangular barrel i was told it is designed to stay cool after shooting shot after shot and keeps 100 percent accuracy After shooting long periods. Other than that i don't know much about it.
