Biggest difference between 760 and 7600 is the mutiple locking lugs, I believe 9, on the bolt of the 760 and 4 locking lugs in the 7600. Made from 1952 to 1981. A pretty impressive production run. 30-06 probably most common.
I have one in .35 Whelen and a carbine in .30-06. They are two of my favourite rifles.
