Just wondered if anyone has experience (good or bad) with this model.

I spotted a clean one in 30.06 with a 4X Redfield and sling for $350 and am very interested. I very much like simple, utilitarian, working guns and this seems like a reasonable price. I'm aware that some bring less and some more. I was at a gun show today and the three that I saw were not in the best shape and all priced between $445 and $500. I've read a few stories regarding extractor and safety problems.

A good undervalued gun worth picking up or should I keep the money in my pocket??

721 is essentially a 700. Great rifle.
