Does anyone own a rem 710 or 770 I was wanting to compare some info about ammo and what performs best and what ranges etc. I have a 710 and have shot core lokt. I don't have the cash to shoot a bunch of different boxes to fit the ammo to the rifle. I want to find something that holds tight groups, and some drop tables and all that. I've been shooting 150gr rounds.

I have a 710 in 30.06 and I also shoot core locks outta mine wrks great hold good groups hated the bolt on it tho so I got a 700 in 30.06 but with mine last time I shot it which was well over a year ago I had smaller than an inch groups at 100 yards with the 150 grain core locks

Yeah after thinking a lot about it I think I may just stick with core lokts. That rifle I think I'm going to keep under 300 yards. I plan to get a Remington 700 .308 for a long range rifle. Think I'll keep the cheaper ammo in the 710 and spend bigger bucks for boat tail ammo when I get the 700
