to be honest they are not that great a rifle. the predecessor to the M770, pretty much the same gun in a different stock. they have very cheap and flimsy stocks, heavy and gritty triggers, sloppy and sticking bolts, ect., ect.,... just look up the reviews on the M770 and just replace it with the 710 and you have all the information you need.
i had bought one several years ago myself and quickly sold it at a loss, just to be rid of it. i have shot several for friends over the years, IMO, the M710 and the M770 are pure junk. i can't even believe Remington put their name on these!
