Our local gun shop general store had to ship 22 rifles back all labeled separately . They also sold some 83 other rifle that have to go back. You can assume there not happy with Remington ether.

To many far better trigger out there. The X trigger ain't very good anyhow. Rifle basix has been my favoraite brand for a few years now.

between the 700 recall and the r51 screwup CS sucks and then the moving they have really shot there own foot . I'll never by Remington again. To many far better rifles out there today , some at lower prices.

8 weeks, that is a bummer. I have 6 guns there for trigger fix. So I guess I have about 4 weeks or so to go-retuned them in late May.

Default Remington

Not a word from Remington in South Africa.
As usual we will be last in the row!

Default Remington 700 and model 7 recall

Remington has determined that some Model 700 and Model Seven rifles with XMP triggers could, under certain circumstances, UNINTENTIONALLY DISCHARGE.
2006 and newer rifles only.

Please read carefully. You're discussing two different events. The first recall was of the XMP back in April. "Excess Sealant".
Friday's announcement is HUGE! That is the advisement on more than 7 million Walker triggers. All Remington BA triggers with a grooved face.

Big Country 02--
If you have a thousand shots on an XMP trigger, I'd sure like to buy it from you.
