yeah, i do want to bed it to be honest- if for no other reason, i have this OCD complex that doesnt relent. My problem now is i dont know where to go. My old gunsmith closed shop and moved but thats another thread. If i was not afraid to make a mistake, i would get a diy kit and do it myself.

I had a feeling it was in 8x57. I guess I was thinking Husky because of the side mount scope. I have seen lots of Huskys in 96 and 98 actions with that side mount. Beautiful rifle.

Brownell's sells bedding kits and they have very detailed instructions on doing it. there are many books that tell how to bed a rifle stock. i am sure there are a few YouTube videos of how to bed a stock as well. i have done a few and it's really not that hard if you can follow directions.

You know I haven't seen stalkingbear on here for a while. Doesn't he do some small gunsmithing jobs for a good price? I remember reading a thread where he talked about bedding a rifle on here too I think.
