Thanks. I have been interested in a .308 as well. I am leaning towards a savage due to the money. As you can see I have a new baby that loves my money. Lol.

I love my savage axis and it is Very quick and easy to tune that less than impressive 7.5lb trigger down to your pull of choice (about 3lbs for my taste). Search "savage axis (or edge) trigger fix" on google or you tube. I have gotten 1" groups at 100yards with factory and expect to improve when I begin to reload. Couldn't ask for more out of $329.
