Default Remington 700 BDL

Looking at a used Remington 700 BDL with laminate stock 270 with Leupold Rifleman 3x9x50 scope. Love the look of the rifle, 270 or 30-06 is my preference. Is $700 a good price for this in good condition?

IMO that seems a little high, but given the current market on firearms it might be reasonable.. i have a few Remington M700's that the most i gave was $550 for. a couple were even less than $350 and one i got for $250 with no scope. i'd offer $450 and go from there.

You could probably find one for less if you look around, but that's still not a bad price. A new with wood runs around $880. You could add another couple of hundred for the scope and rings. So that's not bad.
