Krylon paint and I used a mesh laundry bag to give it the snake skin look

Looks really cool man!

How do you prep all the parts and keep the paint from chipping off the moving parts especially the scope caps and bi-pod i.e. extending legs and springs?

I only ask becuase I used to own a bodyshop (painted mostly custom Harleys) so I have some experience in the refinishing business.

I use a matt clear coat then a little bit of steel wool to remove any shine it may get
