I got a box of ammo last night and cleaned it up a bit, I'm gonna shoot it a little I want to really see how well at distance I can do with the sights just for fun. Really I just couldn't care if it's worth $10 or $10,000. I just didn't want it leaving my family. It's in good shape and the bore looks great. If I ever get a day off work I'm gonna find al long range to shoot it at. 175 yards is the longest range shot I can make here and that's at a hanging gong.
I hope to have one of the vets carry it in our next old solders parade in town, that was what my great granddad did with it so I think it would be cool.

play the victim, be the victim

I believe the commercial version is the model 30 Remington.
"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling, which thinks nothing is worth war, is worse. A man who has nothing which he cares more about than his own personal safety is a miserable creature, and has no chance of being free unless he is made free and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself" John Stuart Mill
