Default Remington 1903

I just bought a Remington 1903, s/n 3208xxx, with a scant c stock. Does anyone know if this fits the 1903A1 category?

I'm sure it's a Remington 1903, produced just prior to the start of 03-A3. It has the scant c stock, but I don't know what else to look for to determine if it's a 1903A1. The barrel is stamped 7-42.

That's what I get for going by memory. This should help.

Thanks Mountainman for the quick info... It's a good start on figuring out what I have. At any rate, I can't wait to put some rounds through it.

No problem. Based on your serial number I would say you are already pretty well informed.
