Default Rem 700 trigger assmbly replacement

I understand that Remington has agreed to replace the trigger assembly in all Rem 700's. Have any of you had this done? I'm wondering how long they keep your rifle. Someone told me as long as 4 months.

Just this past week I had a hell of a time with the bolt-release which is part of that trigger assembly. It's the first problem I've encountered.

You should consider buying a new trigger group. Remington is recalling every 700 ever made. It will take at least a couple years to fix all those guns.

Buy and install this in your rifle . What ever Remington does with this recall replacement trigger it will not be that good.

Or a timney but figure most any aftermarket trigger will be far better.
