Default rem 700 stock fit a rem 770 ?

I have a new 30-06 rem 770 and want a different stock will a rem 700 stock fit my rifle? I know 700 is better but I already have the 770

i don't think so, without a lot of fitting. two different actions. best i can recollect, i don't know of anyone making aftermarket stocks either for the 770.

thanks I will do a search see what I find. if it is to expensive looks like time to sell the 770 and buy a 700 or just be happy with the 770

Totally different action, plus the 770 trigger guard is made into the stock.

ok so I can scratch that Idea ok thanks guys and that's why I asked because my brothers on the forum know allot about rifles and are always there to help each other out. Thanks guys
